Re:       Renewed Global Steel Price Increases Forces a 2.5% Price Increase - Effective 05/01/2011

Dear MAXON Mobility Distributor,

As always I thank you for your ongoing support of MAXON!  All indications seem to point to the economy finally turning the corner from what have been a few difficult years.  Unfortunately, with increased volume, comes increased commodity prices – in particular steel prices (please see www.amm.com, American Metal Market, for specific reports).

Consequently we are forced to increase our prices on lifts and parts by 2.5% as of May 1st, 2011. This increase will not affect current orders (exception: orders with a due date that is more than 6 months out).

A new price book DVD will be mailed to you by the end of March 2011.
